A bored ex-employee who worked for French perfume company Interparfums Inc, in its Paris office, has filed suit against the company. Ex-facilities manager Frederic Desnard claims the boredom he experienced occurred when the company lost a lucrative contract.  The lack of work, he claims, led to a downward spiral into depression, and is suing his former employer for $170,000 in damages.

Interparfums Inc, creates fragrances for brands such as Agent Provocateur and Jimmy Choo.

Interparfums’ lawyer has rejected the allegations, saying they will show “inconsistencies” in Desnard’s story.
